A couple days ago I had a chance to tour the vacation retreat of former president Harry S Truman.  The experience prompted some thoughts and observations on the value system of our current political elites.

  1. Good podcast I enjoyed it. Not the biggest fan of Truman, but I think it was also a measure of being a mature, responsible male back then; to not demand all the baubles his higher office could have offered. Leaders on both sides today act as petulant children for the most part chasing the golden ring for themselves and their hangers on with utter disregard to the effect their actions have on the country.
