We all nurse some form of anger or resentment about wounds we received in the past.

Why is this? Where does it come from?
And how can we free ourselves from it?
This podcast focuses on these questions.

  1. I have struggled with this and my personal traumas are trivial compared to many people, such as my own parents. I had a thought that perhaps we archive painful memories as a survival mechanism, whereas pleasurable ones are fleeting. So it’s easy to dredge up bad memories and ruminate over them while recalling good ones seems difficult. It takes a conscious effort to avoid this trap. A book that has helpful methods is “The Secret of Letting Go” by Guy Finley. There are numerous others on this topic.
