A common theme for those counseling individuals who suffer from extreme regret/guilt is helping them realize that people usually make the best decision they can at the time, given the information they have available. It’s one of the reasons you should approach failure in an endeavor as a learning opportunity, not a reason to beat up on yourself.

    Great podcast. Sliding scale and flexibility are critical in all decisions!
